The sadness around the smiling eyes
did not fade. There was
something unfathomable about it.
Not his, it was his alter ego,
he was living in strange depression.
Nobody shared his room. Only moon-
light slept on his pillow. He dreamed
of coiled reptiles around his legs
which he did’t shake off.
A nocturnal shriek from the
secret masterpiece. A spider hangs
from the roof. A lethal sting.
The pain was theoretically correct
with powerful boom.
Exhaustion cuts the night. A
transparent shroud on corpse.
Limbs clearly outlined but face
was covered in veil. The bright
light was lonely for the comrade.
