NAMESAKE

Dismantling himself, what he is not
to build another you,
like a limbless lizard taking to flight.
Violence erupts to engulf the evidence.

Tethered self, flutters,
fills the air, cupped cries
piercing like a whistling train, in midnight.
They have started molesting the mirror.

Frozen skulls make a bid with empty looks
walking barefoot on nails,
smothering the rage and shouts,
swallowing the silence of tombs.

oWith no pretension he walks,
alone on scars of land,
for namesake, without word, igniting
inwardly the flame, body and soul.
