BY YOURSELF

Some drag was evident;
we were not keeping pace with each other.
We were afraid and shadows were
pulling us apart, murmuring wet things.

A typical story of failure and vanishing
imagination. Body limp
as if electrocuted
concealing ennui.

Fireflies were playing once in our backyard;
soon a moon will ask the reason,
why the spiders were mating ?

drag queens are dancing on the street.
Son of a cleft lip has become a surgeon
to stitch the humanity and
so many wounds of the family.

Tofu of mother soybeans will
heal the ulcers.

See, You cannot walk all by yourself !
